The Ibanez RG, known by many as the Ibanez Roadstar, is one of the most popular electric guitars ever made. RGs have substantial and lightweight Superstrat-style bodies, comfortable necks, and maintain impeccable balance - these are the ideal vehicles for fast, technical, and commanding performances. What does Ibanez RG stand for? Now, it’s pretty much commonplace that people stick to the ‘RG’ name when referring to these post-1987 models.
