RCF PA systems, loudspeakers, and subwoofers, oh my!
While many other companies outsource their loudspeaker driver components, all RCF drivers and components are made in-house in their factory in Reggio, Italy. They control every step of the process to ensure complete quality from the internals and circuits all the way down to the control knobs. There’s a reason RCF PA speakers, loudspeakers, and subwoofers grace many a stage around the world, and that reason is quality!
RCF portable powered line array speakers
Every gigging musician knows how annoying setting up and tearing down a PA system can be (not to mention the game of Tetris you play getting all the pieces into your car). But RCF has solved that problem with their lineup of portable powered line array speakers.
The RCF Evox J8 is about as simple as it comes. One speaker, one subwoofer, in a super-portable and easy-to-setup kit. You can get 1,400 watts of crystal-clear vocal and instrument performance for your next gig — no matter where it is!
And if you want a fuller-frequency sound, check out the RCF Evox 12. It looks and acts the same as the Evox 8, but instead of eight two-inch speakers, you get eight four-inch speakers for a more robust sound.
RCF powered line-array loudspeakers
All-in-one options are great, but sometimes you need a more customized and powerful setup to suit your live sound needs. The RCF HD line of powered line-array loudspeakers combine simplicity and power to help you create your perfect setup.
All RCF line-array loudspeakers come with a powerful DSP processor that allows you to control phase correction, crossover, and limiting and protection to give the audience the best sound quality possible. Plus, they’re all super lightweight and easy to install.
So really, the only question you have to ask yourself is how big do you want your speakers to be?

Each RCF line-array loudspeaker pumps out 1,400 watts of incredible sound quality. RCF loudspeakers also come with FiRPHASE technology, which allows a 0-degree linear phase playback. RCF was actually the first manufacturer to offer a full line of 0-degree phase-compatible PA systems! You really can’t go wrong.
RCF portable point-source loudspeakers
Stick them on a stand, connect to your system, and you’re ready to go. RCF portable point-source loudspeakers are ready to take your PA system to the next level. With improved transducer design and a host of features to make it easy to customize your sound, the RCF ART series of PA speakers is ready to perform.
Pumping 2,100 watts of RCF sound quality, the ART 915-A is a 15” two-way loudspeaker that’s considered to be the most flexible in its class. With a special ART 9 Class D amplifier, it can pump out 50% more power than the previous model. You can get extremely high sound pressure, ultra-fast attack, and realistic response without much heat loss — no cooling fan needed.
It might have a smaller 12” speaker, but the RCF ART 932-A is still ready to make some waves (sound waves, that is). It pumps out a whopping 2,100 watts of distortion-free sound to fill any venue. Mount it anywhere with multiple rigging points and make some noise!
At the top of the RCF loudspeaker world is the ART 945-A powered two-way speaker. It brings bigger transducers, bigger speakers, and bigger woofers for full-frequency, ultra-loud sound with unmatched clarity. It’s the perfect addition to your live sound PA setup.
RCF subwoofers
Get low with RCF subwoofers. They’re designed to pump out the same incredible sound quality as the rest of RCF’s offerings, just at a lower frequency. Plus, their portable yet durable design is perfect for nearly any application.
The RCF SUB 708AS MK2 is an 18” powered subwoofer that’s capable of pumping 1,400 watts of low-end sound straight to your audience. With 3” voice coils and built-in DSP, this sub is ready to hit the stage!
If you want a little more portability in your setup, the RCF SUB 705AS MK2 packs a 15” speaker but is still capable of producing 1,400 watts of bass-booming tones. You’ll get plenty of deep, punchy bass that’s perfect for instruments, vocals, or anything in between.
And when you absolutely, positively need to be heard, there’s no substitute for the RCF SUB 8006AS. This beast packs two 18” woofers for a whopping 5,000 watts of power! Add in 4” voice coils, and you get an incredible bass tone that’s as clear as it is loud.
The history of RCF Audio
RCF was first founded in Reggio Emilia, Italy in 1949. Originally, RCF produced OEM microphones and speakers for other international companies to use in their products. But they also manufactured a few products under the RCF name.
It wasn’t long before RCF dove headfirst into the ever-growing public address (PA) system market. They began designing and manufacturing professional-grade transducers for use all over the world. And when the 1960s hit and everyone wanted more power out of their speakers (rock music isn’t meant to be quiet), RCF kept up with new transducer research and design.
RCF was a pioneer in high-powered speakers. They released a range of 12-, 15-, and 18-inch loudspeakers that quickly gained them a dedicated worldwide following. People could finally listen to rock music the way it was meant to be heard: loud!
In the 1970s, RCF had already locked down the volume market. Now they set their sights on quality. They released a line of Hi-Fi home speakers, cabinets, and amplifiers that became wildly successful. The BR 40 speaker was so good that it remained in production for several decades!
By the 1980s, RCF was tired of giving other brands the credit for their amazing speakers. Rather than simply supply transducers and speakers to other companies, they entered the professional speaker market with a bang. They started a line of high-end speakers under the RCF name aimed at professional musicians and venues.
Continuing in the professional landscape, RCF released the ART 300-A speaker in 1996. It was one of the very first portable loudspeakers made with composite materials. Despite its size, the ART 300-A provided exceptional sound quality that was instantly beloved by industry pros.
Through the 2000s, RCF remained at the forefront of loudspeaker technology. They developed other amazing speaker lines — like the TT+ touring and theatre line, the HDL line, and continued the ever-popular ART line. Modern RCF PA systems include amazing things like FiPHASE, True Resistive Waveguide, Bass Motion Control, and M-Brace technology to make it easy for musicians and venue managers to create their perfect setup and control every aspect of their sound.
In 2022, RCF sponsored the creation of the largest outdoor venue in Europe. The RCF Arena is large enough to fit 103,000 people and features more than 400 RCF TT+ speakers with over two megawatts of sonic power!
