The 300 Series marks the entry point to the all-solid-wood Taylor experience. Solid-wood construction brings out the tonal character of the back and sides in the fullest and most complex way, and in the case of solid sapele, yields a consistent sound across the tonal spectrum with a splash of extra top-end brightness. Top options include mahogany for a strong, focused response or Sitka spruce for maximum versatility. Optional Taylor Expression System 2 electronics produce a natural, dynamic amplified tone that accurately captures the nuances of the player. Featured appointments include black binding, a black pickguard, Italian acrylic dot fretboard inlays, a 3-ring rosette, and satin finish back and sides with a gloss top. Available in Dreadnought, Grand Concert, Grand Auditorium and Grand Symphony body styles, and with a 12-string version of the Grand Symphony.
