The dreadnought is the iconic acoustic guitar body shape since it first hit the market in 1916. In 1974, when Taylor guitars was established, Taylor included an 810 Brazilian rosewood dreadnought as one of its first six guitars produced. Its powerful bass and overall tone make this ideal for guitarist who like to be heard. Both strumming and single note runs explode out of this guitar in a very musical way. Taylor continues to evolve the dreadnought and take it to the next level with new bracing patterns and features.
