Crafted from all solid woods, the J-45 Standard features solid mahogany back and sides paired with a solid spruce top, the timeless tonewood combination that has defined the J-45 for generations. The one-piece mahogany neck has a comfortable Rounded C profile and is topped with a rosewood fretboard, equipped with 20 frets and understated mother-of-pearl dot inlays.
The headstock sports the iconic 60s-style Kalamazoo shape, fitted with a bone nut and smooth Grover Rotomatic tuners for reliable tuning stability. A rosewood belly-up bridge with a bone saddle and ivory bridge pins adds to the guitar’s tonal richness and sustain. Completing the classic look, the newly redesigned epoxy-style pickguard features the traditional tortoise teardrop shape.
