The all new MK3 series deliverers a suite of updates to the BASSBOSS line, improving clarity, performance, functionality, and safety via the new amplifiers, new DSP, custom control software, waterproof connectors, and more.
The updated amplifiers + DSP feature much more powerful 96 kHz processors with pristine sound quality and eight touch-of-a-button on board presets. This new state-of-the-art Class D amplifier provides a true 2500 Watts of RMS power. The amplifier is truly capable of delivering continuous power, ensuring that it isn’t the limiting factor on your quest for low frequency. Additionally, by providing an abundance of power, the possibility of overheating and damage to the woofers caused by clipping is virtually eliminated.
New “Control BASSBOSS” software provides additional computer-accessible presets, networked remote control, and future proofing remote DSP update capabilities as new BASSBOSS programming is developed and released. Each unit features dual ethernet ports with a built-in network switch for computer connectivity and cascading networking ability.

The structurally braced Baltic Birch cabinet features a deeply recessed amplifier well, two integrated through-cut pocket handles on each side, four tuned ports, and a host of other design features all aiding in performance, output, and transport functionality.
The SSP118-MK3 delivers more low-bass output than other subs of similar size on the market and is designed to yield the low frequency output of an average double 18” from a single 18” box.
Optimized for remarkably deep bass response, from a cabinet of manageable size, these subs are loaded with a single 18” long-excursion neodymium motor that also still yield accurate punchy bass to meet the demands of live sound. The output is extremely flat, delivering response that is +- 3dB from 30Hz to 100Hz and no equalization is required to achieve this response. Unlike designs that require equalization, the SSP118’s tone, response and sensitivity are native to the design.
The result is an 18” based subwoofer with the versatility required to translate the power of dance tracks, modern country, blues, rock, R&B and hip-hop with amazing presence and heavyweight power. For Live Sound and Studio applications this sub deliveries the accuracy and transient response required to faithfully and energetically deliver in these realms.
