Evans EMAD 2 Clear Bass Drum Head
Evans clear EMAD batter series features a 10mil of single-ply film providing an ideal balance of punch, power and low-end. The EMAD contains two interchangeable damping rings that maximize attack and low-end without removing the head or reaching inside the drum. The unparalleled industry standard externally mounted adjustable damping system allows the player to adjust attack and focus.
Evans Resonant EMAD series (REMAD) features 7.5-mil of single-ply black film. The unparalleled industry standard EMAD damping system combined with an internal fixed ring provides controlled overtones. The 4" offset mic port features a plastic sleeve that focuses pitch and enhances attack while providing protection for the port. All REMAD series heads feature an extremely durable second generation plastic sleeve.
Evans EMAD2 series features two plies of film. The outer ply of 6.5mil and an inner ply of 10mil film provides an enhanced attack, focus and durability. The EMAD2 contains two interchangeable damping rings that maximize attack and low-end without removing the head or reaching inside the drum. The unparalleled industry standard Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping (EMAD) system allows the player to adjust attack and focus.
Evans clear EQ3 series features two plies of 6.5mil film and provides a controlled low-end rumble and focused attack. Its articulation and endurance make the EQ3 especially suitable for live playing and will not distort under heavy hitting. An internal overtone control ring with a removable muffle ring make for extreme articulation and ultimate endurance.
Evans EQ4 series features a single ply of 10mil film. A fixed internal overtone control focuses the tonal response of the drum.
Evans Genera G1 Coated Drum Head
Evans Genera HD Dry Snare heads feature two plies of film. An outer ply of 5mil film and an inner ply of 7.5mil film, in combination with a 2mil overtone control ring on the underside that "floats" with the head, eliminating excessive overtones and controlling sustain. Precision-drilled dry vents around the perimeter of head reduce overtones and control sustain. Evans Level 360 technology is incorporated to extend the level playing surface of the drumhead, 360 degrees around the drum. The vertically enhanced collar design guarantees even contact with the critical bearing edge of the drum shell, resulting in: ease of tuning, extended pitch range and optimum quality of sound.
