While the original Les Paul Specials were designed as student models, they quickly graduated to the main stage thanks to their no-nonsense attitude and raw power. This reissue captures the exact moment in 1960 when the model hit its stride, offering a structural and visual clone of the vintage icons without the need for a second mortgage to acquire one.
At the heart of this beast lies a pair of P-90 pickups, affectionately known as "soapbars" because of their shape — though they certainly won’t clean up your act.
