At the heart of this reissue is a hand-selected AAA figured maple top, chosen by the Made to Measure team for its exceptional flame and character. It’s paired with a lightweight, solid mahogany body and finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer for a rich, vintage look that will continue to age gracefully. Single-ply binding adds a subtle touch of elegance, while the classic Les Paul silhouette remains unmistakable.
The neck is carved from mahogany and shaped to the Authentic 1959 profile—comfortable, rounded, and true to the original. A long neck tenon ensures maximum sustain and resonance, while the rosewood fretboard features 22 medium jumbo frets and aged celluloid trapezoid inlays for a period-correct feel.
