A retro-refined take on a classic Gretsch design, the revamped mahogany body of the Electromatic CVT Bass features beveled contours that not only add to the distinctive look but also provide a sleek and comfortable playing experience, making this easy to wield low-end machine feel like an extension of your body.
With a Low Down Alnico Humbucker in the neck position and a Low Down Alnico Single-Coil pickup in the bridge position, the CVT Bass is the low-end weapon you’ve been looking for. Featuring Alnico 5 magnets this combination is capable of producing everything from thick and thunderous, to clear and punchy with ease.
The Electromatic CVT Bass possesses a comfortable 32” scale length and a bolt-on mahogany neck that features our comfortable and fast-playing Performance “C” shape. A bound laurel fingerboard, medium jumbo frets, genuine bone nut, and pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays round out the package, providing supreme playability, sound, and style.
