The impressive Guild F-40 Standard Jumbo Acoustic Guitar is an homage to the classic acoustic guitar tones of Guild’s past. Featuring a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides, this guitar’s sound is warm and rich. The Guild Vintage Gloss finish gives this instrument an amazing look and feel. You can feel like your favorite acoustic guitar players with the F-40, which comes with a smooth closed-pore texture and a hand sprayed soft, silky coating. What’s more, the Vintage Gloss finish provides a worn-in vintage tone and appearance with a modern flair.
Achieve incredible clarity, balance, and volume with our jumbo-sized F-40 Standard. With it's solid Sitka Spruce top with solid African Mahogany back and sides, the F-40 Standard serves up a robust tonal palette that's perfect for anything from vocal accompaniment to solo work, and many other "unplugged" applications. Its predecessor, the F-48 Navarre, was only produced from 1972 to 1976 and original versions are a rare treasure. Today’s version manifests the same vintage charm with timeless appointments such as a tortoiseshell celluloid pickguard, white ABS binding, and Guild’s peak logo inlay on the headstock.
