When Michael Kelly Guitars set out to make a signature 12-string acoustic/electric guitar for Zebra front man Randy Jackson, we knew it had to be special. Richly-figured ziricote top, back and sides and a natural gloss finish combined with mother-of-pearl inlays including the Forte Celtic knot provide the distinctive look.
The Forte Port 12 Randy Jackson of Zebra Signature builds on the design and innovative technology of Forte Port acoustic guitars. This visually striking guitar combines exotic ziricote wood with a natural gloss finish. The styling is further enhanced with mother-of-pearl inlays that adorn the ovangkol fingerboard, including the Forte Celtic knot and black diecast tuners.
The sonic performance is just as striking as its look. The offset sound hole creates a larger resonant area under the strings for improved depth, accuracy and tone. The Forte Port side-mounted soundhole produces superior tone and clarity and allows you to hear sound coming directly from the body of the instrument for easy monitoring.
Want to go electric? No problem. The Zebra Forte Port 12 features Fishman electronics to capture the full and natural sound of the guitar. The active electronics include volume, contour and phase controls along with a built-in tuner.

Our innovative Zero Pin Bridge allows players to change a string without tools and without the stress of losing or breaking pins. A quick slide into the specially-designed groove makes the inevitable string change as quick and easy as possible!
Integrated Fishman Electronics
The active amplification system by Fishman® includes an onboard control for volume and one for tone. These are mounted inside of the soundhole for easy access, and this avoids the need to cut a hole in the side of your guitar, maximizing performance.
