The On-Stage ASMS3000 Isolation Shield is a simple solution to the complex problem of room acoustics that helps you achieve better-sounding recordings. This curved shield surrounds your microphone’s back and sides to dampen the volume of other instruments and background noise while decreasing room reflections, improving your mic's immediate recording environment.
On Stage ASMS3000 Isolation Shield Features:
The shield is composed of a layer of segmented foam and a metal-mesh screen, delivering an effective combination of absorption and diffusion that maintains the purity of your sound source by blocking out unwanted reverberation off floors, walls, and ceilings. The shield mounts directly to the 5/8”-27 threading of your mic stand so there’s no need to set up an additional stand. A stand-mounting adapter is included to provide compatibility with mic stands that have 3/8”-16 threading. On the shield’s support arm, a bracket adjusts the shield’s horizontal distance relative to your microphone, enabling you to dial in effective placement compatible with a wide range of microphones to optimize sound-protection coverage. The sliding bracket makes adjustments quick and simple and your distance settings are locked in with a tightening knob for stable, reliable placement. The shield’s lightweight construction makes it easy for your mic stand to support and balance it. For compact storage and ease of transportation, load in, setup, teardown, and load out, the shield folds down. With its black finish, this versatile accessory adds to the professional presentation of any recording studio or mic setup.
