The clutch, which unlocks when squeezed and locks automatically when released, is attached to the upper shaft for quick, easy height adjustments.

All the tubing of this stand including the legs and main shaft are constructed from steel to ensure reliable support for your microphones. The wide footprint of the tripod base delivers outstanding balance and stability while rubber feet on the legs prevent sliding on smooth flooring to keep the stand firmly in place.
