The clutch, which unlocks when squeezed and locks automatically when released, is attached to the upper shaft for quick, easy height adjustments. The boom and main stand both feature a 5/8”-27 threaded stem that mounts standard dynamic and condenser mic clips, shock mounts, and other mic accessories, enabling a wide range of miking options. The overall stand height adjusts from 46.5 inches to 72.8 inches for use in a variety of applications including vocal, instrument, and overhead miking. The boom adjusts 180 degrees in angle, rotates 360 degrees, and slides forward and back for precise mic placement. The boom also telescopically adjusts in length from a minimum of 18.7 inches to a maximum of 33.1 inches, making it easy for you to position your mic for best sound while also keeping the base out of the way of performers and instruments.
All the tubing of this stand including the legs, main shaft, and boom are constructed from steel to ensure reliable support for your microphones. The wide footprint of the tripod base delivers outstanding balance and stability while rubber feet on the legs prevent sliding on smooth flooring to keep the stand firmly in place. The base folds down flat for ease of load in, setup, teardown, and load out while also enabling compact storage and efficient transportation.
