Supported signals include balanced-analog audio for microphones, instruments, and speakers as well as digital protocols such as DMX and AES/EBU for stage lighting and audio. Designed for professionals, the Production-Grade snake signal boxes are available in male-XLR (SNK4BM) or female-XLR (SNK4BF) configurations. This bidirectional device routes signals in either direction (XLR inputs to RJ45 output, or RJ45 input to XLR outputs) to suit your particular setup. The RJ45 connector accepts your shielded CAT 5, 5E, 6, 6A, or 7 cable, making it easy to protect your signal integrity. It even passes phantom power for your mics. To eliminate the need for another box and additional XLR cables, an On-Stage SNK4CM or SNK4CF Snake Cable (sold separately) can split your ethernet cable into four male or female XLR connectors at the end of your run. With its passive circuit, flat frequency response, low THD, and low noise floor, this Snake Box provides you with clear, high-quality audio transmission. It’s simple to use and requires no power source—just plug in your cables and you’re all set—and its compact size makes it easy to transport to and from gigs.
