The V7 Vintage New Gen uses a revised New Gen C-shape neck paired with a 7.25"" vintage fingerboard radius and 2.0 mm small fretwire, delivering a more traditional feel compared to the standard V7. Edgeless rolled fretboard edges improve comfort while preserving vintage geometry. Roasted maple neck options enhance stability and long-term consistency without altering the classic playing experience.

2. Vintage-Voiced Electronics with Simplified Signal Path
This model features the Marcus Vintage-J Revolution pickup set, voiced specifically for warm, articulate, traditional J-bass tone. The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp (no mid-frequency control) uses a simplified four-knob layout with push/pull active-passive switching, reducing complexity and preserving a more traditional tonal response.
