The 854ce is the perfect companion to the iconic 814ce acoustic electric six string. The 854ce employs Taylor’s Grand Auditorium body shape, the most versatile body shape in the Taylor lineup.
The Taylor 854ce features all solid Indian Rosewood with solid Sitka Spruce top, West African Ebony fingerboard and bridge, single ring ab rosette with maple binding, hard rock maple binding on the body, neck and bridge, smoked nickel mini tuners, and award winning stage and recording ready ES2 electronics. The solid Indian Rosewood back and sides give the player plenty of bass response, top end clarity and a nice scooped out midrange. The solid Sitka Spruce top gives the player more flexibility and greater frequency range.
The 854ce features V class bracing, performance enhancing wood thickness and finish thickness modifications to deliver an amazing level of sustain, projection, and tonal accuracy.
